Welcome! I'm a machine learning researcher and software engineer with expertise in computer vision, deep learning, Bayesian statistics and numerical programming. I currently work at Digital Surgery @ Medtronic, where I study machine learning methods for automated detection of organs during surgery. Relevant buzzwords: image segmentation, object detection, weak supervision, semi-supervised learning.

Before that I was at Umbo Computer Vision, where I worked on semantic segmentation and scene understanding. Before that I did my PhD at University College London, where I studied how deep learning, Bayesian models and optimal experimental design can be used in blood flow imaging. Before my PhD I studied Engineering Science at Keble College, Oxford, with my master's project focusing on variational Bayesian methods in medical imaging.

I've been a consultant, employee, or intern at several awesome places over the years: Umbo Computer Vision, OpenCage Data, Lokku Ltd, UCL Department of Medical Physics, Energy and Power Group @ University of Oxford, Applied Microengineering Ltd.
